The history of Goodturn cycles
The story of GoodTurn Cycles began when Catherine Clements rode a Pedego electric bike for the first time, at the top of Vail Pass in Colorado, located in the Rocky Mountains. The very high altitude of the summit, coupled with the very steep slope of the hill, made this distance seem difficult and tiring. On the other hand, thanks to her electric bike, the latter was able to climb to the top in confidence and in peace.
Shortly after, Catherine traveled to the South West of France to visit a friend, and she felt the same heady feeling overwhelmed and seized by an urge to explore the landscapes around her. She imagined the colorful Pedego bikes rolling through hills and vineyards, and meandering through the small villages of the region. After hearing about and discussing the high unemployment rate in the area with locals, Clements decided to open GoodTurn Cycles in France to open a sister store in the Dordogne, and share his vision originated by GoodTurn Cycles in Denver, Colorado .
